Signature!! Extra-thick noodles! The secret to its popularity is the just-right umami of the chicken bone soup highlighted by a nostalgic soy sauce flavor.

Great ramen! A very popular spot among the locals. The noodles are thicker than usual ramen, and the actual soup is very flavorful. No English menus available but the staff are friendly. The ramen in the photos is the Chashu Ramen (medium size). Best part is that they have a huge can of ground pepper so you can spice up your ramen as much as you want!

On the occasion of a business trip, I made my first visit to Menya 7.5Hz Takaiida branch, which I had been curious about for a while. I arrived around 8 AM on a weekday, and there was no waiting outside, with 2 customers already inside upon entry. The interior has the atmosphere of an old-school ramen shop centered around counter seats. While not flashy, it is clean and has an ambiance that makes it easy to enter even alone. This time I ordered the Chuka soba medium size. Although I had seen "extra green onions recommended" in reviews, I ordered it normally, and as a result, I felt a slight regret that I should have gotten extra green onions. The pitch-black soup characteristic of the Takaiida style felt salty at first, but as I continued eating, it mysteriously became an addictive flavor. It paired well with the thick noodles, and before I knew it, my chopsticks wouldn't stop. While eating, customers came in one after another, and before I knew it, it was close to being full, giving a sense of it being a popular restaurant. It's a bowl with a unique addictiveness, and a shop I'd like to revisit when I come near again.

Heading to Takaiida in search of morning ramen This was a bowl that is the definition of Takaiida ramen. I entered just before 8 AM and it was almost full. It felt like it was filled with local regulars, making me feel that it's a beloved shop. That shows in the cost performance. In this era of rising prices, corporate efforts bring ramen starting from 700 yen. It's not just the price, it's delicious ramen. The chashu is also solidly rich, and it's understandable why many people order the chashu ramen. Also, though I didn't order it, the rice ball was 100 yen yet a solid rice ball. It was a shop where the restaurant's spirit could be glimpsed in various places. Just one thing, if you dislike green onions, since they put raw green onions and quite a lot of it, I thought you should ask to omit it. Since I like green onions, I was grateful. A good shop I want to come to again! Thank you for the meal 😊

Wanted to eat Takaiida style, so I visited for morning ramen for the first time in several years. Ordered the Chashu ramen large (soup concentration normal). I ate it for the first time in a while and as expected, it's THICK!! You can choose the soup concentration as light or thick, and I felt a bit of regret that I should have ordered it light. By the way, the taste of the noodles, chashu, and soup were all normally to my liking and delicious. Next time I visit, I'll ask for light soup. By the way, in contrast to the soy sauce ramen, the shio ramen has straight thin noodles, and while simple, it was exceptionally delicious!

2025.11/16 (Sun) I went at 5:50, 10 minutes before opening, but the shop had an atmosphere of being open since around 5:30 and it was in a nearly full condition. Ordered chashu ramen with extra menma. The food came out in about 5 minutes. As for the soup, it's a punchy, tare-leading type where the dashi flavor chases after. The noodles are thick, but surprisingly have a good affinity with the soup. I wanted an onigiri as a palate cleanser so I ordered it additionally (^^;) The soup and onigiri go really well together. I thought I could have even gotten extra green onions for the ramen. Even though it's 6 AM on a Sunday, there were customers anyway.
