We absolutely loved this amusement park! 🎡❤️ It’s very family-friendly and especially great for little kids. The park has been around for about 100 years, so it still has this wonderful old-fashioned, antique vibe that makes it feel really special. And I definitely recommend taking the funicular to get there. The ride itself is pretty amazing and adds to the whole experience! 🚞✨ We had such a lovely time and would definitely recommend it, especially for families with young children. Such a wonderful place for children and family. Most of the facilities can bring you up to enjoy the beautiful view of the city under the mountain. The weather was perfect on the day we visited. Do not forget to prepare for sun protection and bring a portable fan to prevent from heatstroke.

A fun retro amusement park to visit with no entrance fee. You pay what you want to ride by purchasing value pack (12 rides) or pay for unlimited ride for the whole day. You are welcome to bring your own food. We went to try their lunch food and it was yummy. The log ride was closed under renovation, but there was a new ride where you ride a spaceship and shoot aliens (the sfx were amusing…AAHH). Arcades and skill games are available and were interesting (old, but still works). Coin lockers are available.

It's a great amusement park. There's a cable car fee to go up. For the rides, you pay for each ride individually, not through an all-inclusive ticket. You can choose to pay only for the rides you want to ride. The view from the top is amazing. I recommend coming.

Our visit to Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park was one of the best amusement park experiences we’ve had especially when using the Kintetsu Rail Pass. The entire journey there is fully covered by the pass, making it an excellent value and a hassle-free day trip. One of the biggest advantages of this park is that there is no entrance fee. Instead, you pay per ride or purchase a ride package. We opted for the 12-ride pass for 3,600 yen, which offered great value. Several rides offer breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area, thanks to the park’s mountaintop location. The scenery alone makes the trip worthwhile. Even as adults, we found ourselves feeling like kids again, enjoying the simple charm and nostalgia of the park. The rides themselves are not overly thrilling or scary, making them suitable for both children and adults. It’s a perfect destination for families or anyone looking for a fun, relaxed amusement park experience without extreme rides. The highlight, however, is truly the stunning views combined with the joyful atmosphere. Overall, Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park is a delightful, affordable, and scenic outing that we would highly recommend especially if you are traveling with the Kintetsu Pass.
