A 5–6 minute walk southeast from Kintetsu Fuse Station Where I ended up was "Hozenji Bekke" The concept here is an omakase system where they keep bringing out kushikatsu one after another. Each kushikatsu here has its own creative twist, a little different from the usual casual kind The flavor and the frying are just right so you can gobble them up (careful if you're sensitive to hot food) The price was about 5–6 thousand yen for 3 drinks and kushikatsu until full How full you get depends on the person, but I was plenty satisfied. I wasn't very familiar with Fuse, but I'm happy to have another area to look forward to
View on GoogleAn offshoot (noren-wake) of a long-established kushikatsu shop near JR Yao Station The owner here trained for 20 years and has had this place for about 10 years✨ Careful work, and everything you eat is way too delicious🥰 Never thought there'd be this kind of quality in Fuse🎶 Meticulous work, and they're particular about the oil too The dipping sauce is refined too😋 It's cheap, and I'm glad I discovered such a great shop Even the ochazuke to finish gives you total peace of mind🍚
View on GoogleI got to enjoy all kinds of kushiage until I was full. There are unusual ones too, so you can enjoy really entertaining kushiage!
View on GoogleDelicious! The frying timing was to my liking too. Good for about 2 people to eat and drink at a leisurely pace.
View on GoogleA small kushikatsu specialty shop. 9 counter seats and two tables for 6. It's basically an omakase course, so even without ordering they bring skewers out in order, from standards to seasonal items, until you say stop. Drinks are mainly beer, sake, and wine. It's about 10% pricier than the kushikatsu places around it, but the calm interior and atmosphere leave a good impression
