South side of the elevated tracks between Kintetsu Fuse and Eiwa Station, sitting all alone in a residential area, is a sushi place with a real hidden-gem vibe 🍣 Apparently they've been open here for about 25 years, but until very recently I never noticed it and just walked right past 😅 Lunch was open 🈺 and a good deal 🉐, so I went for a solo sushi lunch 😋 🍣 9 pieces 880 yen 🍣 11 pieces 1100 yen Both include tax and come with akadashi 😀 I ordered the 11-piece course and an umeshu soda for 480 yen ☺️ Tuna, shrimp, octopus, salmon and more, all popular, tasty toppings, and what I thought was me-negi turned out to be kaiware nigiri 😁 It was so affordable that 🍣 simmered anago 400 yen 🍣 grilled scallop 300 yen 🍣 unakyu maki 400 yen I ordered extra 😋 The rice (shari) is sweet and not very vinegary, exactly the kind I love, so everything was delicious and went down in no time 😆 I wanted to eat more, but I was getting full, so I stopped ordering here 🙏 The akadashi turned out to be osuimono, but it was tasty, so no problem ✨ My only regret is that I forgot to order 🍣 uni 😓 Apparently with a reservation by the day before, there's a 6-tier course (around 2500 yen) and other courses (around 4000 yen), so next time I'd like to enjoy those 😋 It's a cozy, tucked-away place with just a few counter seats, so it was really relaxing (there seems to be a tatami room in the back too). It's close and affordable, so I might end up becoming a regular 😁 If you live nearby, definitely, definitely stop by 🤗 Fuse Arakawa Higashi-Osaka sushi sushi sushi sushi restaurant reasonable lunch affordable great value nigiri sushi
View on GoogleI usually go under the Kintetsu elevated tracks, but I heard they're building a Toyoko Inn in Eiwa, so I took the back streets Then I suddenly spotted a sushi place Looked like they do lunch too, so I ordered the 11-piece course Seems they've been here for over 20 years 🍣
View on GoogleI came for lunch. It was very delicious. I had the 12-piece set for 1200 yen. The sushi was tasty, and I was surprised at this price. The staff were kind too 😊
View on GoogleHad drinks and some really good sushi, and all for this price! Way too good value for money.
View on GoogleA calm place run single-handedly by the chef-owner. It was delicious.
