Rugby Museum is not open during the week! Opening hours suggested otherwise.
View on GoogleAs expected, the mecca of rugby grounds in the west is magnificent❗ For a rugby-only stadium, this size is overwhelming‼️ Since there's no athletics track in between, the stands are close to the rugby pitch, so you can watch matches and cheer on players up close. The slope of the stands is designed so the people in front don't get in your way, yet it's not too steep, making it comfortable to watch. The stadium is new, clean, and large, and the stands are accessed from indoors rather than via outside stairs. Unlike the open, semi-indoor style of Kumagaya Rugby Stadium, it's fully indoor, so I think bad weather has little impact inside the stadium.
View on GoogleInside Hanazono Rugby Stadium, uniforms, trophies, and more from high school rugby, the Japan national team, the 2019 Rugby World Cup, etc. are on display. Note that the museum is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and match days, so it isn't open every day. Also, since the museum is inside the stadium, on match days you'll need a match ticket too, but the museum itself is free to view; on non-match days, it seems you can pay to tour the stands and so on. By the way, I went not for rugby but to watch a home game of J.League's FC Osaka, and the museum was open even on a soccer match day.
View on GoogleWent for the first time in decades and it's gotten sooo much better~😃 The park's been fixed up too, so if you have kids it'll be fun to come play here
