An old-school coffee shop right outside Konoikeshinden Station. Smoking seems to be allowed in all seats, but perhaps because there are two entrance/exit doors, or because there are family customers, it doesn't feel as smoky as you'd expect for an all-smoking cafe. The hotcakes are loaded with butter and delicious. Lunch also seems quite popular, and quite a few people were eating meals. You can spend time leisurely, so I definitely want to go again.
View on GoogleA very retro and nostalgic-feeling shop. On a busy weekday morning, elderly regulars gathered in an interior that felt like the clock had been turned backward many times over. There's a slight smell of tobacco (ashtrays are present), but with the mild-tasting coffee, a creamer pitcher for the first time in a while, and the ham and eggs, toast, and coleslaw salad that tasted just like something made at home, I felt warmed up and a bit comforted, ready to start the work I came here on a business trip for.
View on GoogleI wanted to go to a smoking-friendly coffee shop and happened to find what looked like a good place, so I went. I was hungry and tried to order lunch, but while I was still in the middle of ordering, the staff walked away, which initially surprised me. Also, when I asked to confirm if they had hot black tea because it was confusing, they spoke in an angry tone saying they do have it, which made me think I won't be coming to this shop anymore. However, the drink I got afterward was delicious, which made me mad. I'm not going back. No matter how delicious something is, bad hospitality really causes a business to lose out.
View on GoogleGot off at Konoikeshinden Station for work, and since I was a little hungry, I was scouting around for a decent spot when I discovered this coffee shop. Being a huge coffee lover, I took the bait on the sign reading 'How about some aromatic coffee?' and walked right in. Nervously ordered iced coffee and an apple pie. ...This is a total jackpot! What is this, it's super delicious 🤤 The iced coffee isn't just aromatic, it's super fruity! Moreover, the apple pie, which I hadn't expected much of (since it was too cheap...), was warm and also supremely delicious 🤍🤍 Everyone living nearby should definitely check this out!
View on GoogleRating is low because it's a fully smoking-permitted establishment, but it's a wonderful, old-school coffee shop. Classical music plays at a low volume, and both the owner and staff are quiet. On this first visit, the clientele was a bit noisy, but not to the extent of causing a nuisance. I will definitely use this place whenever I come to Konoikeshinden.
