Osaka Higashiosaka "Sushi Omura" A delicious kaisendon shop with great value (^^) Arrived Saturday at 12 PM, there was no noren so I thought it was closed, but since there was 1 customer inside I entered. The master asked, "It's going to take time, is that okay?" and I answered yes and waited at the counter. My order was decided, but I waited because there was an aura telling me to wait after ordering. Oshibori, tea, and after a while, it came out. The master's expression relaxed a bit so I immediately ordered. Moreover, I asked for "Ohmori" (large portion) which is not on the menu (^^) The master stopped for a second but accepted it. While making it, he asked if the large portion was for rice? or toppings? I answered just the rice. After that, shortly after, it was served! ● Kaisendon @1100 + Large Portion @100 tax included Ooooh, large portion!! Lately, there are many places making small bowls look piled up, but this is a solid large portion! The toppings look small because it's a large portion (lol) Every topping was delicious and satisfying! The rice is sushi rice so I'm happy! It comes with red miso soup, a great value lunch! The customer next to me's 15-piece sushi also looked super delicious! Let's try that next time! 2 parking spaces in front of the store.

The fish toppings were fresh, but each piece of nigiri was small. There are 15 pieces, but if you ask if an adult male will get full, it's a bit lacking. The proprietress was friendly, but I don't know if the master is taciturn or grumpy. He has friendly conversations with regulars, so the difference with general customers is glaringly obvious. It's not very pleasant. If it were exceptionally delicious or satisfying, I wouldn't mind the unfriendliness, but unfortunately, the taste wasn't up to that level.

Went for lunch and had the lunchtime-only 15-piece omakase nigiri 🍣. Included red miso soup which raised expectations. The master shaped them right in front of my eyes, adding to the excitement. When it was served shortly after ordering, there were many of my favorite toppings and aburi toppings, and the rice and small toppings matched exquisitely and were very delicious. 15 pieces and hot red miso soup were the best for the current cold season! 15-piece omakase nigiri with red miso soup is ¥1500. This is cheap, delicious, and a hidden gem you'll definitely repeat.
