While passing through Takaida, the tent had "The 2nd best delicious shop in Osaka" written on it, which made me stop in my tracks, and since I love Chinese food I went straight inside! ◆Chinese-style katsudon 850 yen ◆Fried rice 750 yen ◆Gyoza (6 pieces) 350 yen The Chinese-style katsudon had a slightly sweet sauce and the cutlet was thick and filling! It's super voluminous so this alone might be enough to satisfy! The fried rice was the fluffy-separated type, and the gyoza didn't have too much garlic which is appreciated when eating for lunch! There was a cat named Seichan in the shop, and when I called it, it came close - I was head over heels in love with its friendliness ♡ Being the 2nd best in Osaka is a bit debatable, but it was normally delicious!

Since I regularly crave Chinese cuisine, I went to Chinese Restaurant Takaida Tōkarin for lunch. A slightly humble? shop written as the 2nd best delicious restaurant in Osaka w The Chinese-style katsudon had a well-seasoned sauce with a kick of pepper, making it very satisfying! The fried rice was fluffy and delicious! The gyoza had a slightly sweet seasoning and were delicious! While eating lunch, the master? cat (Saichan) appeared w It was super cute ♪ Next time I go, I want to drink alcohol and play with Saichan w

[Recommendation: Mabo Don] I went to eat "Mapo Tofu Don" at "Chinese Cuisine Takaida Tokarin" in Takaida. Takaida-Chuo Station is a 5-minute walk away, and nestled quietly in a residential area, "Chinese Cuisine Takaida Tokarin" has a red tent with a sign reading "The 2nd best delicious shop in Osaka" as its landmark. I had imagined an interior using peach wood, but in reality, it was a space overflowing with cat photos and figurines, an irresistible haven for cat lovers. It's a homelike chuka-ya (town Chinese restaurant) bustling with neighborhood business people during lunchtime. *Sometimes there is a real cat. There are counter seats, table seats, and tatami seats, so you can easily use it whether you are alone or in a group. In a relaxed atmosphere, you can enjoy delicious Chinese food and cute cats. On this day, from among the many menu items, I asked for the "Mabo Don." It's a gentle-tasting mapo tofu rice bowl seasoned with minced beef and silken tofu in a soy sauce-based broth with tianmianjiang. While the Sichuan pepper is subdued, the flavor of the broth stands out. The "Mabo Don" is served in about 10 minutes after ordering, so it's also recommended for a busy lunch hour. However, personally, I would prefer a bit more tofu in the mapo tofu don. Also, I thought being able to choose the level of spiciness would make it even more delicious. For people expecting the stimulation of Sichuan mapo tofu, it might feel a bit lacking. This time, I sat at a seat far from the cat's (real) pathway, so next time I'll sit at a seat around where the cat (real) frequently walks. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Tokarin during lunchtime, a tent reading "The 2nd best delicious shop in Osaka." It's a town Chinese restaurant. On this day, I ordered the mini tenshinhan and ramen set (¥950) tax included. The ramen is a simple chicken-broth-based soy sauce ramen. The toppings are simple: sliced chashu, green onions, bean sprouts, and half an egg. The noodles are medium-thin straight noodles. The soup had a clear taste and went well with the noodles. The tenshinhan was also delicious with plenty of sauce! A la carte items and set meals are well-stocked, and the daily lunch special has a great cost performance at ¥650. The master is also friendly and makes a good impression. The shop is spacious, with about 4 tatami seats, 3 table seats, and 6 counter seats. PayPay accepted. The exact number of spaces is unknown, but there seems to be a parking lot at the back of the store. It's easy to access, about a 5-minute walk from both JR Osaka Higashi Line Takaida-Chuo Station and Osaka Metro Chuo Line Takaida Station.

I had the Tokarin Lunch for 900 yen. It had good volume and was delicious. It was unfortunate that there were ashtrays placed at each seat and smoking was permitted at all times.
