2026.5.23 Went to the restaurant opening at 11:30 on this day. Ordered the yakimeshi set, a simple taste and flavor characteristic of a neighborhood Chinese restaurant (machichuka). The homemade potato salad was also delicious 🥰 Thanks for the meal 😋

Fried rice set with miso ramen. This also feels like a typical downtown Chinese restaurant, with locals making up the customer base. They seem to do delivery too; the phone was ringing busily. The taste is pretty average, but having Worcestershire sauce available and getting this for 950 yen—even though the set menu items are on the smaller side—makes for the ultimate cost performance.

I've visited about 3 times in the past month or so. It seems the set menus are now only available during lunchtime, but there are plenty of set meal (teishoku) options, so you won't have trouble choosing from the menu.

Delicious. Very delicious. Although it's called Ramen Daigaku, the ramen as well as the other menu items are delicious. I made a mistake in my order and ended up with a chanpon and tenshindon set! The staff was a little puzzled, so I felt bad. Anyway, it was delicious so there was no problem. The chanpon features a chicken broth-based light soup topped with a thickened starch sauce packed with the umami of vegetables and meat. It's very delicious. Please enjoy it while being careful not to burn your mouth. Both the chanpon and tenshindon have light colors, but they are properly seasoned, so they remain delicious and flavorful until the very end. It was very delicious. The staff was also kind and cheerful, making for a pleasant lunch. Highly recommended. Thank you for the meal.

Having lunch at Ramen Daigaku for the first time in a while. Prices went up a little, huh... various costs are rising in recent years... can't be helped. Well, it's a battle of taste and volume.
