I visited during lunchtime a few times between work. An old-established restaurant that locals also use because it has a parking lot and the affordability of udon. In recent years, there have been many price increases due to inflation. The taste is average and I think it's acceptable, but the seasoning of the rice bowls is too sweet. As for seating, you can sit plenty at the counter, tables, and tatami rooms.

Back when Haruhachi was a small shop I often had the Matsutake buckwheat noodles delivered Even since it became this building I've come a few times with my late father It's a very nostalgic and memorable restaurant I had the 'Matsu' set for the first time in decades It has a good volume and is delicious!! The oden 🍢 is also sweet and delicious

It's a restaurant that feels like an unpretentious Showa-era udon shop in town. It has all the standard menu items found in a public diner, such as udon, buckwheat noodles, and rice bowls. There is an iron plate on the tatami table so you can also make okonomiyaki. The seasoning is sweet overall. A home-style taste like grandma used to make, which is surprisingly good in its own right. Oden is also prepared in a self-service format. This oden is also sweet, and the daikon radish and eggs are truly delicious. The interior is spacious, and the tatami seating area has a fair number of tables. The parking lot can hold about 10 cars in front of the store.

★Handmade udon to avoid crowds depending on the time of day★ ※Okonomiyaki is a cook-it-yourself type (but delicious) Both weekdays and Saturdays, the customers inside and cars in the parking lot are sparse right at opening or past 13:00. However, from noon to 13:00 the parking lot is full, but the tatami seating area has empty seats since the store is spacious. The madam sitting in front of the register seems a bit hard of hearing due to her hearing aid, so the regulars who understand this kindly and gently call out their orders so the madam can easily ring them up at the register. A handmade udon shop loved for a long time by such wonderful regulars. ※This is the first 'udon shop' I've visited 2 days in a row just to eat oden & udon. The oden broth is superb, and eating udon tsukemen-style with that broth is way too delicious💖 The madams of the shop treat customers with a smile. I'm grateful for that. Plus 'Fast! Cheap! Delicious!' so I love it💖 Upon entering, right in front of you is the 'oden corner', which is interesting. I'm glad I can enjoy lunch with peace of mind without being rushed even if I eat slowly. You can enjoy various menus such as handmade udon & soba, rice bowl dishes, and okonomiyaki. The oden daikon is delicious because the flavor has 'soaked in' well. However, the 'beef tendon' sells out very quickly past noon.

I visited after several years. April 13 Mini Tendon Set Meal (Udon) 1,180 yen April 20 Mini Tendon Set Meal (Soba) 1,180 yen I enjoyed it deliciously 😋 Since it's a long-established shop, it has the vibe of the Showa era. As always, the staff are friendly and kind.
