I dropped by on a whim on the way back from buying Kinokawa/Arakawa peaches. From the area where the farm stands are concentrated, you can get there in about 20 minutes by car. A railway car really comes into view right in front of you, and there's a café there, so it's surprising and moving! Next to the sign modeled after a railroad crossing, there's also a proper parking lot for about 4 cars (it gets fairly crowded, so checking in advance is recommended). The staff inside are very kind, and it's a wonderfully dog-friendly place. You can eat with your dog on the terrace seats. It was a very hot day when we visited, but the staff even prepared a parasol and fan for our dog—amazing service. With a small stream flowing right beside it, we were surprisingly comfortable. I think it's a lovely spot that will fully satisfy not only railway fans but also those who aren't!
View on GoogleI was totally worn out from the early afternoon heat, and as I was heading home I happened to glance over, and what do you know, there was a stylish shop! I immediately parked in the lot and went inside. In the quiet BGM and retro atmosphere of the shop, I had a banana juice like the ones I often drank as a kid. I got to spend a relaxing time on my own ✨
View on GoogleA restaurant inside a train car. The interior has a Showa retro ➕ tropical vibe, stylish. Hamburg steak lunch with a fried egg. The hamburg that falls apart in your mouth and the deep demi-glace sauce make it very satisfying. After dithering over how to eat the fried egg, I ate it in one bite. Its combination with the sauce didn't disappoint. The crisp, refreshing side salad nicely complements the rich hamburg. The interior bathed in afternoon sunlight was peaceful, and I almost dozed off. Finally I had an iced coffee and felt completely refreshed.
View on GoogleI went aiming for opening time. It's a shop that uses a train car. The restroom is clean like another world. On Saturdays and Sundays they have morning sets A and B. The portion felt a bit insufficient. It seems you can order extra bread too.
View on GoogleAbove all, I'm grateful to be able to eat in this atmosphere. The 830 yen lunch set was fairly tasty, and good value too.
