I saw the storefront sign of this shop and had the lunch set meal. The one with sushi rolls was the "Sushi Set Meal" with udon included for 800 yen... The "Nigiri Set Meal" with udon was 940 yen. It seems to be run by an elderly, quiet couple, but since they follow a style of shaping the sushi after an order is placed, the nori on the rolls was thick and crispy, the ingredients were large, and the nigiri was impeccably delicious! Also, the udon was a small portion of about 2/3 of a serving, and the dashi broth leaned slightly sweet, but as expected of a sushi shop's udon, it was delicious! For this content and this price, I am super, super, super satisfied.

I had the nigiri set meal. The sushi was each shaped carefully and meticulously. The thin rolls were probably included as a complimentary service. Priced at 860 yen including tax, served with red miso soup (aka-dashi). I think this price is cheap for a proper sushi restaurant. However, I deducted one star because the moment I stepped into the shop, I noticed a cigarette smell. Regular closing day is Tuesday, and if Tuesday falls on a public holiday, the following Wednesday will be closed.

Ordered the sushi set meal and enjoyed it deliciously! When I mentioned I couldn't eat shrimp, they gladly changed it to octopus. Plus, for 800 yen, it has quite a good volume. Since it's run by just the master and his wife, it takes a little time for the food to be served, but it was a great shop 👏👏

One of the few eateries remaining in my hometown neighborhood (most other shops have gone out of business). I hope they keep doing their best moving forward.
