Miyakino, a long-established okonomiyaki restaurant founded in 1957. Free parking available, located about 10m east on the one-way road on the south side of the store, can park 3 cars, but up to 6 cars if parked tightly. The interior has only 10 counter seats. Run by the second-generation Mama and her husband. The founder seems to be Mama's mother who started the shop in 1957. First time visiting during lunchtime. The interior atmosphere has a retro feel and is very nice. Besides standard okonomiyaki and yakisoba, there are also a la carte dishes. Ordered pork ball and pork yakisoba this time. Since there's an iron griddle at the seat, you can eat the food piping hot. Yakisoba can be changed to a large size for +100 yen, which is a great deal. Piping hot okonomiyaki and yakisoba, very delicious. Also, the couple running the shop are kind and personable, making it a very good restaurant. On the way out, Mama even came all the way outside to see us off. Delicious okonomiyaki, thank you for the meal 😋

Just happened to be visiting this area from Higashiosaka, so I dropped by Miyakino near the station. It's cute how the Mama calls the boss "Yoshikun." That Yoshikun is engrossed in horse racing ignoring the shop, an atmosphere full of Showa vibes. It was relaxing after a long time (lol). The meat yakisoba was delicious ~ ✨✨

I went because the reviews were good, but it's a small shop with just a few counter seats. The owner was glued to regular customers, baseball broadcasts, and horse racing newspapers. It felt like he didn't treat customers like customers. The taste was nothing special and completely average. Don't want to go ever again.

I had Butatama. Price is 800 yen including tax. The okonomiyaki is made for you by the auntie. Cheap and delicious okonomiyaki. She also gave edamame on the house. The interior has counter seats only. Crowded with regulars drinking during lunchtime on Sunday. Service has a homey atmosphere. Smoking allowed inside. Free Wi-Fi available. (Password posted on the fridge) Payment was cash only.

I had yakisoba, kasu-negiyaki, and ebi-tama. All were delicious! Kasu-negiyaki is recommended. The shop's atmosphere is good, and the auntie and uncle running it are friendly, allowing us to chat happily. On the way back, even though we had to make a big detour to return to the road in front of the shop from the parking lot, they waited in front of the store the whole time to say goodbye! She was such a nice auntie!
