A handmade bento shop right by Kintetsu Minami-Osaka Line Takaji Station. You can also park 2 cars. Since they are handmade-to-order, you wait a little bit, but the taste is fantastic in return. The bento boxes from bento shops I usually eat at are often heavily flavored, but not here, and items like the karaage are fried to a crisp; it's hearty, but you end up eating it all. Regular bento boxes start at 470 yen, and even upgraded to DX they are in the 600-yen range, so I really wish there was one near my company. They seem to be on Demae-can too, so please try tasting it once. The staff are also friendly and chat about various things. There are perks if you register on their official LINE, to the point where you wonder, "Are they operating at a loss?!
View on GoogleNo smoking allowed A bento shop with warm customer service different from chain stores. The interior is small, but the fried foods were crisply fried and the white rice was soft and delicious. A shop where the owner's customer service makes you feel comfortable.
View on GoogleA cheap and delicious bento shop. On days ending in 7, the karaage bento drops to 390 yen, which is a great deal. (Normally 470 yen) The 330-yen Nori bento is tastier and more voluminous than the ones at a certain bento chain store. Rice bowls feel a little lacking in volume. The seasoning is strong, and you get quite thirsty after eating. Since they start cooking after you order, you need to wait a bit; if possible, it's best to order by phone before going to pick it up. They deliver for free on orders over 1,000 yen, but if you go pick it up, they give you a bottled tea or water on the house. (Limited to good-looking men and beautiful women) It seems they used to give miso soup too, but that's no longer available. An old-school Fist of the North Star pachislot machine was placed as interior decor in the shop.
View on GoogleA bit hard to enter at first glance, but the humble staff treated us kindly. Even if you order just side dishes, you get a free drink (canned juice) and instant miso soup when you go pick them up. Ordered the karaage, and it was crispy and delicious. I'll go again.
View on GoogleI often go buy food in the neighborhood. The miso soup changed from free to paid, the juice is gone, the potato salad for the fried chicken bento box became mayonnaise, and I feel like the quality has dropped a bit. I wouldn't mind if they raised the prices, but I really wish they hadn't gotten rid of the potato salad. Even though the taste is still delicious.
