A teppanyaki restaurant where you can casually enjoy monjayaki, centered around monjayaki! Our signature monjayaki all contain pork and sakura shrimp. The seafood one is a luxurious dish containing squid, shrimp, scallops, and clams. The umami of the seafood seeps slowly into the batter, creating an addictive deliciousness ✨ Baby Star adds a crispy texture accent. Enjoyed like a snack. Mentaiko melts into the gooey batter with just the right saltiness and a hint of spiciness, creating an exquisite match. Okonomiyaki is finished to be fluffy, offering a simple yet classic deliciousness. There are also plenty of toppings, so it's great that you can customize it to your liking.
View on GoogleA rare monjayaki restaurant along the Minami-Osaka Line. Unfortunately, the monja is mediocre; the taste is good, but the batter is too thin to form a crispy crust (okoge), and everyone scoops it from the bottom. The okonomiyaki is an absolute masterpiece for anyone who loves a fluffy-gooey texture. If you go without knowing, you might have an unpleasant experience; customer service is kept to the absolute bare minimum, and closing time is strictly enforced! Single male customers at night are refused! If you understand thoroughly, you can enjoy it deliciously.
View on GoogleVery delicious monjayaki. Even if it's your first time, the staff will cook it for you so it's okay. Guaranteed to be addictive. It's also fun to try various flavors and find your preference. The recommendation is BIG Monjayaki!! Monjayaki covering the entire iron griddle is impactful. It's delicious to eat while having fun together with everyone. Besides monjayaki, they also have okonomiyaki and yakisoba. These are also delicious! The interior has both tatami and table seating, so it's nice to stretch your legs and eat in whichever you prefer. It's a rather long-established and consistent-tasting restaurant. In the past, few shops served monja in Osaka, but recently they've been increasing. I've eaten at various shops, but I still feel Monjayaki Step is the most delicious. Parking is plentiful and convenient. Postscript: Due to COVID-19, the shareable Big Monja is no longer available.
View on GoogleI had the mentaiko, mochi, and cheese monjayaki. The price is 1300 yen including tax. Monjayaki is a cook-it-yourself style. The cooking process is difficult but fun. The taste is also good. The customer service is matter-of-fact but polite. BGM in the store is FM802. Payment was cash only.
View on GoogleI don't even want to give 1 star. The elderly female staff has a bad attitude. She said something like my child is noisy, so shut up. By the way, the child was just laughing normally like a kid saying, 'I'm looking forward to cola!' There was a sign on the wall saying 'No toys, games, smartphones'. We paid for the drinks we ordered and left the store immediately. I will never go away. I wish they had just told me upfront that kids aren't allowed.
