Matsusushi, a non-conveyor-belt sushi restaurant established in 1964 in Fujiidera City. Currently managed by the second-generation owner. Free parking available. The parking lot is within the store premises and can park up to 3 cars. If you face the front of the car south, you can only park 2 cars, so they ask that you park facing east if possible. First time visiting for lunch. There are 10 counter seats and 2 tatami seats. Lunch is until 1:30 PM. The lunch menu is very cheap at 900 yen including tax, with various items such as chirashizushi, sashimi, tekka maki, kappa maki, and red miso soup containing fish scraps. As expected of a non-conveyor belt sushi restaurant, the freshness of the sashimi toppings was very good and delicious. I had never used a brush to apply soy sauce to sushi, and at first I didn't know what the brush was used for, but being taught how to do it was a very fresh experience. I had an image that the old man of a non-conveyor belt sushi shop was scary, but the owner here was a soft-spoken and friendly person, so I felt relieved. PayPay is also usable so it's convenient. There is one drawback, since the owner is the only one running the shop, it seems the shop is closed while he is out on delivery. So it seems you sometimes can't eat lunch during delivery. I'd like to go eat dinner next time. Thank you for the elegant and delicious lunch sushi 😋🍣
View on GoogleHad box sushi. Price is 880 yen including tax. I wanted to eat lunch, but was told it wasn't available during the New Year holidays. The sushi was delicious and the service was polite so it was good. Magazines available are Weekly Shonen Jump, Magazine, and Sunday. Various credit cards and PayPay were available for payment.
View on GoogleThe inside of the shop can by no means be called clean, but the master runs it alone, asking his mother with a bad back to help with chawanmushi etc. It's a shop with no special merits, but just looking at the master's honesty, his confidence and attachment to business, and above all his smile, the annoying things of the day fade away! For some reason, it's a shop that makes you think "Let's drop by and see his face and go home". Everyone, please go visit in small groups.
View on GoogleIt's an ordinary sushi shop that has been around for a long time. I went to buy ehomaki. It's ordinary. The nori seaweed is delicious unlike supermarkets, but was it this taste? The filling is also somehow... The taste is also somehow... Hmm. A disappointing feeling. I'll have to think a bit next year.
