The master's friendliness gives a sense of security. The grilling degree is just to my liking. I love pickled ginger shochu (gari-chu) and can drink while snacking on the pickled ginger itself. Because the shop is small, if you go early, you can sit comfortably in the back. I always order the grilled rice ball in soup to finish.

Went for the first time. Since there were no customers when I walked in, as I tried to head to a table seat, I was told, 'Counter please,' and thought, Ah. Must be because it's going to get packed soon. However, no one came after that. A little later, a pair of apparent regulars entered. When the customer asked, 'Is the counter better?', the staff replied somewhat awkwardly, 'No, please use a table seat.' It gave me the impression of being discriminated against—Ah, regulars get special treatment. There were 2 staff members, but mostly just 1 seemed to be doing the work, and the time it took for food to be served felt long. The taste of the yakitori was average. I thought it would be nice if they had more menu items.

To the nostalgic Daikichi. Reliable B-grade gourmet food.

Everything we ate was amazingly delicious. Especially the negima and kokoro are irresistible. Might be the most delicious ever. Tomato sour and apple cider vinegar highball are the best.
