This place is absolutely awesome in terms of quality of food, portioning, and price. I'd highly recommend giving it a try. You won't be disappointed!
View on GoogleLocated along Prefectural Route 8 towards Nara. The traffic is heavy so it's a bit hard to pull over. Right as you enter the shop there is a ticket vending machine so you buy meal tickets The ticket vending machine is a bit hard to see. Inside the shop is quite spacious and roomy. Tea is self-service. Rice and salad are free refills. You go get it yourself. Ordered the lebanira set meal, a reasonably voluminous lebanira with a small side dish. Because the seasoning is strong, it goes well with rice. They gave me a coffee ticket on the way out. Validity period is 1 month
View on GoogleI had the "Special Chicken Nanban Set Meal". Unlike the chicken nanban I know, the "Special Chicken Nanban" features chicken with a tempura-like batter that isn't quickly dipped into a sweet and spicy soy sauce nanban vinegar, but instead topped with a thick, generous amount of sweet and sour sauce that subdues the original crispiness and turns it into a tender texture. It is served with mayonnaise containing black specs (black pepper? dried basil?) instead of tartar sauce on the side. Since it's straight mayonnaise with no trace or flavor of pickles, cucumbers, onions, whole-grain mustard, parsley, or eggs typically found in tartar sauce, I think it's great for those who dislike tartar sauce and love mayonnaise. Serving it separately feels like a thoughtful consideration giving a choice to those who dislike it. If you order a set meal, salad, rice, and pickles are free to refill. All you can eat. Amazing. The salad bar is delightful. You get a coffee ticket for your next visit.
View on GoogleI recommend this place when you are very hungry and want to eat heartily. Set meals will surely bring out dishes that satisfy you given the price. Today I ate the salt-grilled Pacific saury and rolled omelet set meal. The saury was a very impressive size and very delicious. The rolled omelette was also big and filling. Furthermore, rice and salad are free to refill, so I was stuffed. It even comes with a coffee service ticket, so there's nothing but satisfaction.
View on GoogleA set meal shop in Daito City. A roadside store with parking space for about 11 cars. Ticket system. Insert a 1000 yen bill, and any dish seems to cover it. I ordered the chicken cutlet and nanban half set meal. Water is self-service. The food was better than expected. The chicken nanban meat is tender, making you want to eat more. By the way, for set meals, rice and salad can be refilled, which is great for young people who want to eat a lot. Inside the shop, there are more table seats than counter seats, so families can use it too. The exterior and interior are a bit old, but eating here feels like a good deal, and I'd like to go to this restaurant again if I have the opportunity.
