It's a small shop. Run solely by the master and his wife Part-time workers come during lunchtime and it's extremely prosperous. Business hours start at 11:00 AM In the afternoon it's from 5:00 PM to around 8:00 PM, but the hand-kneaded dashi is the shop's own recipe so once it runs out they close. There are 3 four-person tables, and in the middle a single person seat (shaped like a round table) can 10 people sit? It's cozy, but the udon firmness and dashi are faultless! Endorsed even by people from Shikoku Rice bowl dishes include egg bowl and eel bowl a la carte Ordering a rice bowl comes with mini udon or mini soba. My recommendation is something I want to keep secret. Ki Special You can get this with either udon or soba, but udon is recommended. In a large bowl, 2 shrimp tempura, 2 seasonal tempura, nori tempura Shiso tempura Chicken, kamaboko, mitsuba, mochi, pickled plum, wakame Just this will fill you up. Price is a little over 1000 yen They will also accommodate requests for just the topping of katsutoji bowl to go with beer! JR Gakkentoshi Line Suminodo Station... a short walk Car might be convenient Parking available next door for 4-5 cars. Along a main road, so if it's crowded (haha) it's quite hard to arrive. Kitei's Ki Special, which you still want to eat anyway
View on GoogleAn udon shop located in Daito City, Osaka. Prices are affordable, katsu curry seems to be their specialty, and plain white rice is essential. The dashi is exquisite, and the katsu soaks into the curry dashi, making it super delicious.
View on GoogleRice bowls come with mini udon or mini soba. I chose soba with the 'tonin-don' (pork and egg rice bowl). Both are faultlessly delicious. My husband had the tempura bowl, and said the frying technique is top-notch. It gets full at lunch, so we enter right as it opens.
View on GoogleAlways delicious. I love tempura bowls so I order the tempura bowl with the mini udon changed to clear broth udon. I was hungry on this day so I gobbled it right up. The pickles that come with the set casually are delicious.
