【Soup stock that's addictive enough】 Kombu kelp works wonders, and when I eat udon at other shops, I always think it has to be Ichiraku's broth, and end up coming back again The udon is also hand-stretched, and along with the broth it has a very gentle feel, definitely hooked no matter what Feels like an old-school diner, with various reasonably priced side dishes in the showcase at the entrance... When dropping by near Suminodo for work, there's a parking lot right across the shop, so I go eat anyway By the way, it opens from 11 AM, but daily specials and great sets are said to start from 11:30 AM

I have most of my lunches here. The rice bowl and mini udon set is 650 yen (went up to 720 yen in 2025), which is a great deal. The udon is hand-stretched, smooth, and has just the right softness. The soup is also delicious, and cold noodles can be chosen as well. The set rice bowls follow this pattern: Mon: Tanin-don (beef and egg), Tue: Katsudo (pork cutlet), Wed: Ten-don (tempura), Thu: Oyako-don (chicken and egg), Fri: Shrimp tempura egg-drop rice bowl The shrimp are plump, the cutlet is thick, and the domestic beef in the tanin-don is also delicious ♪ The oden egg and fried tofu are my favorites. It's cooked deliciously in a light broth. Seasonal a la carte dishes are also hard to pass up, and I always hesitate. I've been curious about the curry set with mini udon and 2 pieces of oden, but the rice bowl set was too attractive so I could never choose it. When I went at a late time, the rice bowl set was sold out, so I finally got to experience it. The size takes up half of a 4-person table, but the rice is served thinly so I don't think you'll fail to finish it. The curry is well-simmered with ingredients dissolved into it, high quality. The oden egg and fried tofu were both masterpieces ♪ Experiencing the sometimes-lined-up somen made with fresh noodles. The ingredients are very generous ♪ Grilled eggplant smells slightly charred and is irresistibly delicious. Rice bran-pickled cucumbers 🥒 that occasionally come out for 60 yen a plate. If they're out, I always choose them 😌

The ultimate town diner. Looking for a lunch spot in this area, I entered after seeing photos of food that obviously looked delicious. There are no lunch set menus, basically a la carte. This time I had the tanin-don and small udon. The served tanin-don is a bowl of beef bound with egg... and it's super delicious. First of all, the beef uses good meat without off-flavors. It might be American, but they use meat good enough that you wouldn't know if they said it was domestic. And the egg isn't just cooked ordinarily, the egg itself has a slight flavor, so when I asked the proprietress if it's broth-beaten egg, she said yes. She also mentioned they use top-grade eggs. It's fluffy, doesn't get tough even when simmered, and is just the right balance of deliciousness. And the udon noodles are said to be custom-made. Since it originally started as an udon shop, both the udon and the rice bowl broth are deeply flavorful and delicious. A restaurant where you can enjoy the best working-class food in this neighborhood.

1️⃣ Visited by introduction from an acquaintance. It was Saturday so it was fully booked. Ordered the daily rice bowl set meal. Today it was tonkatsu and small udon. The cutlet was thick and the egg flavor was also superb, ridiculously delicious. The udon with broth packed with an incredible amount of kombu and the handmade smooth noodles were moving. Such a wonderful set for 650 yen tax included ❗ Unbelievable ⁉️ Everyone, please try it once. 2️⃣ Visited at lunchtime. My recent favorite is curry udon. The handmade noodles, broth, and spice-infused curry soup are exceptional. This time I ordered fried tofu topping, rapeseed blossom side dish, and rice. The fried tofu soaked up the soup, making a side dish on its own. Eating the rapeseed blossom as a palate cleanser and then having the curry udon afterward was the best.
