Not as many drink options as other chain cafes near the station but I think the space is nice and pricing is fair. The food and sweets selection is also decent but not always fully stocked necessarily. Seating is all uniform with white chairs and tables. A far quieter space to study, read, chat, or just relax compared to chain cafes that always have some kind of music playing or people passing by. There is a smoking section but I'm not quite sure if it's in use or now discontinued for air quality concerns. Anyways a lot of sunlight is available as the walls are mostly glass windows.
View on GoogleThe anko toast was piled with way too much anko, huh. After eating more than half the anko first, then picking at it together with the bread and taking a sip of coffee, it was just right.
View on GoogleA morning-set sandwich you can get all day. Plenty of lettuce, satisfying. The lunch Napolitan with a drink set is ¥590 (tax incl.). Good value, but even for someone like me who loves sweet stuff, it tasted sweet. I might not order it again.
View on GoogleI hardly smoke at all, but it was better before they had the partition separating the smoking area. With it there, I feel Holly's signature white color scheme and spacious design with high ceilings can't be put to good use. Maybe they should just go fully non-smoking and put an ashtray outside so people can smoke there. But outside the shop isn't the shop's property, so they'd need permission from the building manager too, which makes it complicated. I felt the staff member had it rough working solo.
View on GoogleI had the morning toast & tsubuan. The menu feels similar to a certain coffee shop chain from Nagoya, but here the portions are moderate and the drink sets are a good deal. It's nice that you can order the toast sets all day. The Suminodo Opera Park location doesn't accept PayPay, but this one does.
