Past noon on Sunday, visited as a pair on the way back from Nozaki. True to the shop name, it's a local Chinese restaurant. There are workers(?) ordering a Tenshinhan (small) + ramen set (which is super voluminous!) for Sunday work lunch, and people munching on chuka-don while reading manga books... Alcohol snacks are also ready, with old gentlemen having motsu stew with draft water-diluted shochu, and finishing with yakisoba. Well, what we ordered was "Gomoku soba" which we always make our "test menu" at any new Chinese restaurant. The appearance is an unadorned dish. Quail eggs -> beaten chicken eggs, wood ear mushrooms -> shiitake mushrooms, like chopped Chinese cabbage (plenty) and carrots (thickly sliced?), the home-cooked aura is in full bloom. The taste is also light and gentle home-style. With such a touch, this is strangely heartwarming. Food without pretension or strange decoration, I felt it was a good restaurant that you can safely visit with small children or for regular use. If I want to eat Chinese food on the way back from Nozaki, I will definitely visit again.
View on GoogleChashu bowl is recommended, and the menu is also varied. Addition, unfortunately it closed in June 2018.
View on GoogleThe shop name and menu were just the same, but the master and wife were gone, and when I asked the staff, management had changed. It wasn't the taste from before so it was disappointing.
