I visited after learning about the special exhibition "The Nozaki Kannon Pilgrimage and Prints of Nozaki Kannon Jigenji." It was a worthwhile exhibition where I learned how the Nozaki pilgrimage became popular and about the history of Daito City. That day was right in the middle of Golden Week, and even though Nozaki Kannon was packed with people, there was hardly anyone at the special exhibition, so I feel the PR was lacking. Maybe it'd be good to team up with Nozaki Kannon Jigenji to promote the exhibition. The site has a library and parking lot attached, and it's a place where you can take your time. Recommended.

160. Iimori Castle - The Continued Top 100 Japanese Castles stamp is at Daito City Museum of History and Folklore (2nd floor) The Iimori Castle stamp is on the 2nd floor, and there are also some old tools and exhibits to look at. But the stamp's chain is too short, so you have to be very careful when stamping. I hope the museum can improve this.

A museum on the 2F of Raiburari Shijo. Even though it's free, you can learn about Daito City's history from prehistoric times onward. There's also a great selection of books and goods related to Iimoriyama Castle and Miyoshi Nagayoshi, so Miyoshi Nagayoshi fans, GO without hesitation! The staff are all kind and knowledgeable. Stopping by was the right call.

They have the Top 100 Castles stamp for Iimori Castle. Parking is free for up to 1 hour. The Museum of History and Folklore is free too.

I stopped by to get the Continued Top 100 Japanese Castles stamp. The stamp is on the 2nd floor, and they also show an 18-minute video giving an overview of Iimori Castle, so I think watching it before heading up to the castle will make your visit to the castle ruins more meaningful. The one very disappointing thing was the manners of the people using the stamp. Even though there's a notice asking people not to do test stamps, it's in the state you see in the photo. Train photographers' manners often get criticized, but I guess there's a certain number of castle fans with equally bad manners too.
