Unsuiro in Daito City is an authentic Chinese restaurant where the owner, who has dedicated over 30 years solely to Chinese cuisine, manages the kitchen all by himself. Careful workmanship can be felt right from the appetizer, raising expectations from the very first dish. It's also great that Laziji is on the menu, allowing you to thoroughly enjoy authentic Chinese food. The style of ordering various small-portion dishes to share is also fun, and conversation flows easily while waiting for the food. With parking for 3 cars in front of the shop, it's easy to visit by car, but since one person is running the kitchen, visiting with plenty of time to spare is recommended.
View on Google2026.7 Dan Dan Noodles with Wavy Noodles + Mala, 1,200 yen. The umami of the sesame, nuts, minced meat, and rayu in the dan dan noodles come out solidly and it's very delicious. You can choose between straight or wavy noodles, and the wavy noodles were quite firm. Adding Mala seemed to increase the tingling spiciness level. It felt like it enhanced the aroma of the dan dan noodles and was delicious. Parking has space for 2 cars + α, but the + α spot #40 almost always has a car parked in it.
View on GoogleThe lunch menu is limited to set meals only, but it's a restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine like dan dan noodles, shrimp chili, and sweet and sour pork at reasonable prices. The special chili oil is super great to use for various dishes at home.
View on GoogleSeeing comments that it gets crowded even on weekdays, I came right at opening. Although the parking lot in front of the shop was empty, it was blocked by bicycles so I parked the car elsewhere. Hesitated between the lunch sweet and sour pork or the summer-limited menu, but since I'm weak against limited items, I saved the sweet and sour pork for next time. Paid via PayPay, and in less than 10 minutes it was packed with people waiting outside—quite a thriving spot. Personally, the spiciness level was just right; many places often lack enough kick for me, but I enjoyed it deliciously all the way to the end. Next time, I might want to try the lunch sweet and sour pork, which seems to be limited to 10 servings a day.
View on GoogleA shop I've been curious about for a while, making my first lunch visit on the way to a ceremonial occasion. The lunch menu operates with 4 varieties (all 1,300 yen). Quite an attractive lineup. I hesitated between the 'Sweet and Sour Pork Lunch' and the 'Shrimp and Egg Chili Sauce Lunch', choosing the latter. By the time I left the shop, the sweet and sour pork lunch was sold out! There is a ticket machine near the entrance. PayPay is available; if using it, let the staff know, sit down, and settle payment after ordering. In about 10 minutes, the shrimp and egg chili sauce, salad, chilled tofu, side dish (daikon mochi with kinshasa sprinkles?), soup, and rice were served on a set tray. First, I'll have the salad. Sunny lettuce, red bell pepper, and shredded daikon radish dressed with black vinegar dressing—crisp and delicious. Next, a sip of the soup. Soy sauce base, slightly thickened, loaded with enoki mushrooms, wakame seaweed, onions, and chopped green onions—a happy surprise with lots of ingredients! Flavored with ginger, it's delicious!! Here, I stretch my chopsticks toward the main shrimp and egg chili sauce. Five large shrimp (about 4-5cm) tossed in chili sauce with scrambled egg. Let's eat the shrimp coated in chili sauce. The acidity of the chili sauce transitions into the sweetness and umami of the shrimp, followed by a sharp kick of doubanjiang spiciness. The shrimp have no unpleasant odor, a plump bite, and though heavily seasoned, it's not cloying with a mild spiciness that is truly delicious. However, this is merely a prologue... Scooped up the egg and chili sauce with a soup spoon, and before I knew it, it was on the rice. The egg acts as a wonderful accent! Avoiding putting this on white rice is inevitable. It's guaranteed to bring a smile to anyone's face, from children to adults. The chilled tofu is dressed with a savory aromatic sauce, making a nice chopstick rest. The daikon mochi has a spicy finish from the kinshasa and contains cheese—delicious! Personally, I would have liked lettuce laid under the shrimp chili, but I devoured it in no time and was thoroughly satisfied. Eye-catching menus like whole steamed fish are lined up, making a repeat dinner visit inevitable!
