A so-called old-fashioned kissaten. Located about 10 minutes northeast of Suminodo Station, along a road passing through a residential area that connects straight from Prefectural Route 8 to Kintetsu Line Yoshida Station. A cafe where a cute exterior and many well-balanced plants combine in the middle of a residential neighborhood, making its stylish spatial presentation stand out prominently. Even on days when the shop is closed, it has an atmosphere like a single painting. Inside, ceilings and walls are delicately decorated with ornaments and plants, making your heart flutter. There are counter seating, table seating, and sofa seating. Also, in the back, there is said to be a special room for large parties, capable of accommodating groups in the tens. It seems to have overwhelming support from local women, making it a bustling shop crowded with regulars and customers who heard of its reputation. A female customer sitting next to me was a regular since opening and highly recommended it, saying, "This shop is popular for its voluminous lunches, and especially the way their deep-fried dishes are fried is exquisite." [Regarding Regular Closures] ・The first Sunday, Mondays, and Tuesdays are regular closing days. *Every month, a 3-day consecutive holiday from the first Sunday to Tuesday. ・Open on other Sundays.

It seems the regular closing days changed starting August 2023. Mondays and Tuesdays are regular closing days Until now Sundays were off, but it seems they are open now. Open days are Wednesday to Sunday The store's interior atmosphere is stylish and wonderful. Especially the glass light covers, small miscellaneous goods by the window, foliage plants, etc. As for the food, the owner's commitment where every single homemade dish is made without cutting corners comes across. The coffee is also very delicious. Since it's run by one person, it's not recommended for those who don't have time to spare.

Mama serves lunches committed to being completely homemade all by herself. It takes a little time, but freshly made food is always served. There is a private room in the back of the shop that can accommodate group customers, and since it's in a location not immediately visible upon entering the shop, at a glance the interior might look empty. Since she is particular about coffee, I always have it. It feels like returning to your relaxed parents' home and I think it's unsuitable for people in a rush for time, but for those who like to wait leisurely and chat, I think it's a very good place. Lunch + drinks included for 1700 yen will fill you up.

Lunch is a single plate lunch, and you can choose large, medium, or small for the rice. It included coffee or tea and was 1500 yen. The side dishes are various things women seem to like served in small portions together, but since there is quite a bit of volume, I think men will also be reasonably satisfied. However, in this day and age of rising prices, you might feel it's expensive to pay for an everyday lunch. It seems Mondays and Tuesdays are regular holidays. Perhaps due to the shopkeeper's personality, elderly people from the neighborhood also seemed to casually drop by, and conversations were flourishing.

I go eat lunch there enough for them to remember my face. There were a few times I gave up due to crowding. Prices went up from May. Please make a reservation before going. Even with a reservation, you will wait. You wait even when it's not crowded. Some time after finishing eating, piping hot miso soup came out steaming, and when I had no choice but to drink it, it was spicy and made my throat thirsty from the afternoon. Since it's run by one person, it takes time when it gets busy. Water and oshibori don't come out easily. I thought they were a friendly person, but the nuance has shifted. I recommend going when you have mental leeway to wait and plenty of time.
