A small, cozy museum. Admission is cheap at 200 yen. Models, farming tools, old black rotary phones and such are on display. The black phone has a coin slot, so it might be an old public phone, and it's quite rare. The disappointing thing is that there's little about Kusunoki Masashige
View on GoogleDisplays archaeological finds and historical materials from ancient times through the early modern and modern periods, as well as items associated with Lord Masashige. There are a few souvenirs related to Lord Kusunoki. I bought a towel with the Kikusui crest on it (600 yen)
View on GoogleNot Lord Masashige's personal belongings, but the Chihayaakasaka Village Folk Life Museum is on the 2nd floor. Admission is 200 yen, purchased at the ticket machine to the left of the entrance At the reception I bought Lord Masashige commemorative goods When I visited again in '25, some of the exhibits had been swapped out I learned a lot
View on GoogleThe building is small, but everything is displayed carefully. The inside had a somewhat tense, serious atmosphere. They also sell gojoin (castle seals). It's at the end of a somewhat winding road, but the parking lot is quite large.
View on GoogleExhibits on the history of Chihayaakasaka and items connected to Kusunoki Masashige. I came to the roadside station (michi-no-eki) and it was right next door, so I stopped by and got to see some valuable materials. I think they could promote it more.
