Quite far from Amanohashidate city. The exhibits were not so interesting. I went there in winter and the inside was freezing cold. Not sure if they tried to save heating cost as there was almost no other visitors.

Ignore any info about opening times. Not even sure it's a going concern. Wasn't open when we visited, despite the info offered by Google and their website. It looks quite run down, so may be permanently closed?

Not only selling silk item made in Tango also from Gunma and Niigata

Old historic building (there also is a repaired part) so many souvenirs.

Exhibits about silk were displayed starting from its history, but perhaps to preserve the building, there is no air conditioning. It was too hot to visit in the summer, so it didn't seem like I could take the time to look around carefully.
