The food isn’t fantastic but it is good enough. Why five stars then? It is super cheap for what it offers. As far as I know, it is probably the cheapest all-you-can-eat place in the Kyoto area. They have no only yakiniku, but also sushi, and many other kinds of food including simple curry. All of this for less than 2000 yen on weekdays during lunch. Plus you can stay for an hour and a half. That is just unbeatable! The place is far from everything so unless you have a car or motorbike, you may need to consider the cost of getting there as well. If you want a gourmet experience go somewhere else, but if you want to eat a lot for a low price, this must be your choice, period.
