Reasonably priced Authentic Kaisei food. Left full and happy.

After checking in at the inn and everyone handled their own business, it was dark when we returned to the inn. Everyone didn't mind dinner, so we had dinner at the restaurant opposite the inn. The dinner was good without any surprises, just a neighborhood eatery, the food was fresh, the grilled snow fish was tender and thick, overall it was good for the price. The surprise was actually the Haagen-Dazs ripe strawberry ice cream bought at the supermarket, Daniel even bought a bag of blueberries to go with the ice cream, but unfortunately it was disappointing, the ice cream taste was just ordinary, please don't trust the packaging

Finally found a delicious restaurant nearby that I can visit after moving from Kyoto city to Uji‼️ All the dishes are delicious, and I, who used to live in the Gion area, am satisfied. Since the owner cooks by himself, it takes a little time for the food to come out, but the taste is good.

Dishes that are modest and gentle on the body. A long-established restaurant from when the Ogura pond existed. It is said that there was a port for Ogura pond behind the shop, but now there is no trace of it. Changed from river fish to seafood cuisine, but a shop that truly loves taste and hospitality. A shop that keeps the old-fashioned taste without following flashiness or trends.

You can enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine. I had the bento course. The sesame tofu and chawanmushi are delicious.
