This is a wonderful minshuku with very kind and helpful owners who went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. An amazing location overlooking the river, I was there in the Ukai cormorant fishing session and loved it. Quiet and private with big rooms, very close to Byodoin temple and attractions on the other side of the river too. Was lovely to walk over the bridges and along the river in the still of the evening with stunning light on the water during sunset. Great value, I would love to stay here again.

I had soba at this riverside restaurant. I especially liked the tori nanban best. The dashi broth was incredibly delicious.
