Ordered their matcha soba set for ¥1580. The soba was super springy with the bounce. While not much matcha taste to be had here hut it was very additive. Soba sauce wasn't salty at all so it is easy to keep on eating. Easily the nicest simple dish around. Side dish wise i like the fried dough quite a bit. Free flow of tea is always a plus. Super zen environment.

Soba was soaked in savoury base which is a perfect pair with the complimentary tea. The shop was quiet and comfortable space, and had a beautiful garden outside. The shop owner was friendly and the service was excellent. There were side dishes and mashed potatoes, which were delicious with a yuzu flavor. It was light and filling, very satisfying! One of the highlights is a spacious front yard/beautiful Zen-like garden with seating. It allows visitors to enjoy their matcha treats while soaking in the atmosphere of Uji's historic surroundings and landscapes.💞🌻🌺

Was not part of the plan to visit this restaurant, but we were redirected here after the one we wanna go was closed. The Macha hot and cold shoba was surprisingly good, especially cold one. Oh yah! We cannot help but order another cold Shoba after our first order! Haha. And needless to say, this restaurant has been famous for its macha ice cream. Overall a 10/10 experience! Will come again if we revisit here.

Stopped for uji matcha parfait which hit the spot after temple and shrine hopping. Not really sure where to go in Uji for the best matcha soft cream, they all look good. Seating outside.

The staff was very patient and polite, definitely recommend this place since it is tourist friendly! The food was really delicious and I would recommend the fried chicken with soba set, the chicken was really crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Soba was soaked in cold and savoury base which is a perfect pair with the complimentary tea. The atmosphere was calming and even had a zen like garden outside. I would definitely come here again with my family!
