Went to eat here, and i was craving spicy things. I looked up on the menu and saw 酒粕ラーメン辛味 (Sake kasu rāmen karami) which translates to sake lees ramen spicy. From the looks, it is not really like your original ramen. While it has your normal men noodles, it has minced meat (likely pork i think), some sort of greens, and condensed chunks of fat instead of pork belly. Of course with chili powder since it’s the spicy version. I tried the soup and it doesn’t have your normal ramen taste. It is earthy kind of fat taste, and the ramen is a little bit thicker than normal. But it tastes really good. For condiments, they have soy sauce, chili powder, pepper powder, and garlic paste. The garlic paste is a must as it enhance flavors of everything i ate, including the fried rice. The shop is pretty small, could only fit less than 10 sittings of people. You also need to look at walls of the restaurant to know how they look like. But other than that, if you’re visiting Ōkubo, it’s a must try restaurant.

Pretty dece ramen and karaage. Super clean inside too, which is a plus for a restaurant in this area.

期間限定の油そばが美味しいです。 沢山の香辛料と辛い肉そぼろでまぜそばのような感じですが、台湾風のものとも少し違い、シンプルで安定感のある味わいが私はとても好きです。上に乗っているホルモンはぷりぷりの脂が甘く、食感も生まれていいアクセントになっています。 期間限定と店内に貼ってあったんですが、数ヶ月ぶりに来てもまだ普通にありました。 酒粕ラーメンの塩もいただいたのですが、個人的には油そばの方が好きでした。 麺はザ中華麺という感じの黄色いかんすい麺で、独特な酒粕の風味と動物系の旨みがありながら、意外とあっさり食べられる一杯でした。
