The Nintendo Museum is one of the best places I’ve ever visited in Japan. It truly healed my inner child, bringing back so many unforgettable memories through the games I grew up with. From the smooth registration process to exploring the museum, trying the interactive games, and browsing the exhibits, every moment gave me goosebumps. It still feels surreal that I was able to experience it. One of the highlights is the exclusive merchandise—you can buy items that are only available at the museum, making them perfect souvenirs for Nintendo fans. The food was decent, and I appreciated having a restaurant inside the museum to take a break. For the interactive games, you’ll need to use your digital coins wisely since they’re limited. If you plan to visit again, save some time for the workshops, which are also worth experiencing. My biggest tip is to book the earliest time slot possible. It gives you plenty of time to explore the museum at your own pace, enjoy the games, shop for exclusive merchandise, and simply take in the entire experience without feeling rushed. If you’re a Nintendo fan, this is an absolute must-visit destination in Japan.

I did enjoy my time at the museum. The first floor is full of interactive activities, you can only play a few ones (even repeat them) but once you run out of coins from your entry pass, that's it, no more until your next visit. I recommend to expend time at first hour, so you can enjoy it without waiting to much. Also, the first floor has the "Bonus Stage" where you can buy some mercha from the previous consoles and the own museum that you won't find in other places, neither Nintendo official Shops (Japan & US). Just keep in mind each entry pass allows you to buy up to 2 pieces of the item, for example; 2 shirt from the Nintendo museum with the same design. The second floor is special, it's look to the origina of the company, from when they used to sell cards and toys, until nowadays. Unfortunately you can't take pictures, but as a fan, it's worthy to look at it. The nostalgia really hits when you look at los video consoles and games. Also, there are some prototypes from the consoles and their controllers as well. Even the ones they first presented to everyone before the final product. The Hatena Hamburger it's worthy to try, might say not the best place to eat if you are in Japan, but the concept it's pretty good; you can craft your own hamburger, there are an insane amount of combination, even for those who are vegetarian. The desserts are not the best, but I will recommend to go to the ice cream. Once you are in, you can always re-entry to the 1st, the 2nd floor and the Hatena Hamburger (the restaurant building). But once you get out from the building complex, that will concluded your staying. It was very funny, I hope everyone could enjoy it.

This is a huge museum and a paradise for Nintendo fans, although tickets are very difficult to get. It features Nintendo products from different eras, making it feel like a journey through time. The interactive games on the ground floor are especially worth trying. Even though the wait was long, it was absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

A lot of great interactive games and museum exhibits. The second floor exhibits were really spectacular. Lots of hardware that was never released in North America. The only negative was that you aren’t allowed to take pictures of anything on the second floor. The museum should publish a book that catalogs all of it and have it for sale in the gift shop. The merchandise in the gift shop was okay, but I’d love it if they would also sell books and more clothing. I didn’t particularly care for the clothing designs they had for sale when we were there.

If you like Nintendo... This is the place to go. Buy the tickets with a lot of time ahead to your visit and don't forget your passport / ID or you will not be able to go in. First floor all the interactive cool action were you will enjoy like a kid. Second floor, the museum (no photos and no videos allowed) were you will find all the history of the company. Very interesting area with a lot of surprises of the past of the company. Don't miss the opportunity to go!
