My first time eating Duck meat burger, thought of given a try and it was so so good. Crispy (a little burnt logo on the crown) bun and juicy burger with lots of my favourite spring onions. Will definitely return on my next trip to Uji.
View on GoogleWe made a stop in Uji on our way from Osaka to Kyoto. We stumbled on this plus and enjoyed our duck burger. We have had duck before but never in a patty form. It was good and a fun experience. The staff and place is nice. Would recommend trying it out.
View on GoogleFirst, the place is inviting because the two staff at the front are very friendly and welcoming. Food wise, the shabu shabu with the duck thigh and meatballs is excellent. Really tasty. The duck pudding, while I can't really tell the difference in taste, it feels very rich yet is also very smooth. The above reasons are why I gave this five stars because they are reasons enough that I would come back. Below is where things fall short. The duck patty on its own is quite salty actually and I probably won't order the burger next time. Wasn't a fan of the texture and taste. The mountain of onions is also quite sharp. Worth a try but do add cheese. The gyoza is not crispy but the meat filling is nice though a bit salty. The fries had too much salt on them. I had to scrape them off. I forgot to take a picture of the shabu shabu set :(
View on GoogleVery cute space, there are tables in the back and also some space right next to the kitchen. I got the double patty duck burger to which i added double cheese. Service was polite, and the food arrived in around 10 minutes. It was great quality i would 100% try again if I had the chance.
View on Googleおいしいです!From Canada! Visited this place since it was one of the only restaurants open during the holidays. I ordered the double duck burger combo (+ cheese, fries, and drink) for 1600 yen, and my girlfriend ordered the duck keema set for 1400 yen. I was astounded by how juicy the burger was. It was oozing with flavor and paired very well with the mountain of green onions. The fries were good too. Overall, it was a very unique experience, especially if you're a foreigner craving a burger! I think it's a little pricey, but worth the visit.
