After a short five-minute wait, we ordered the udon and the pork cutlet oyakodon. The udon had a great chewy texture, while the duck was slightly overcooked. The pork cutlet, however, was fried perfectly.

Just walk around Uji and find this restaurant. Really kind staff and wonderful lunch meal in winter season. I loved this restaurant vibe, it’s feels like home to me with great food. Recommend tempura in onigiri, I don’t know what it call but you must try.

A great spot for udon, with fresh and delicious flavors. It's a simple, no-frills eatery I would definitely recommend.

Very friendly and calm atmosphere, tourists are kindly welcomed here. They have an english menu provided, and it's pretty simple and easy to read. I got cold noodles perfect to combat the hot weather, and I also got the onigiri. Everyone was ordering one so i had to try it out, and it was good, don't forget to try it if you come here.
