The restaurant is a hidden gem in a small quiet alley of uji. It's amazing to observe the chef attentively cooking food for you. We were having a wonderful time eating delicious food while enjoying a very good selection of sake. The chef assistant has also been very nice. Overall the whole experience of eating there is very pleasant, especially after a long day in a hot summer of Japan.

View on GoogleIt's a small restaurant, about 10 covers, but very cosy. Only one chef and one waitress on duty tonight. The chef cooked every dish in front of us, very skillful and in details. We don't understand Japanese and he used his mobile phone and provided us the translation to introduce the sashimi platter. It's a wonderful meal and we enjoyed very much. Highly recommended!
