A lovely tea shop with an impressive variety of teas to explore. The staff are friendly and happy to offer small samples of their green tea drinks, so you can taste and decide which one suits you best. It’s a relaxing place to enjoy tea and discover new flavors.

Sorry but this ice cream was the worst thing I've had in Japan ever. Don't be fomo by its look, good looking is the only thing it has. Don't ever eat parfait ice cream, everything is frozen and tastes really bad, don't waste money on it. No matcha powder available on the day I visited.

You have to queue if you are here, there isn't much choice in Uji. Though it's a much shorter queue here compared to Nakatanidou. I queued for around 30 mins. We got a seat next to the garden which looks pretty good. Food here is mid. I felt that the food is slightly bland and you can't really taste the matcha. Dessert is alright, looks good but taste average. Staff attitude wasn't very nice, they just put the food down and walk off without saying anything. You also have to alert them if you want to refill your hojicha. Matcha cappuccino is alright but I didn't like the hot matcha tea. Bought my souvenir here because there was discount coupon from my meal here. The souvenirs taste pretty good. But staff was unhelpful, I wasn't sure which one was matcha or normal tea. I approached the staff but he just looks annoyed and pointed to the matcha section. I just bought what he pointed. Turns out it was only the culinary grade, not the ceremonial grade type of matcha. Wanted to buy it as a gift for my brother. Luckily, he drinks the matcha with milk anyway, so the grade of matcha doesn't really affect the taste, just slightly grassier.

A famous brand with many stores across Japan, known for their matcha and wide variety of matcha-flavored snacks. It’s my second time buying from them the quality is always great, and everything is so delicious!

Long standing tea store which serves a wide range of teas with clear guides on what flavours and levels of bitterness for each type. The staff are attentive and will answer any questions you have too. Their prices are well marked and everything is very organised so it’ll be easy for you to find what you’re looking for! Definitely worth checking out if you’re already in Ujj, Japan!
