We visited GOCHIO Cafe and had a really enjoyable café experience. While many matcha shops in Uji were full house with long queues, we were lucky that there was no waiting time, and the café was quite empty when we arrived. Shortly after we went in, more people started coming. My friend ordered a matcha latte, while I had the hojicha latte, which I really loved , rich, fragrant, and very smooth. We also ordered the Matcha Croissant, Matcha Parfait, and Matcha French Toast, and everything tasted very good. The atmosphere was cozy with a nice ambiance, and the staff were friendly. They even offer to help us to take photos. Overall, good food, good service, and a relaxing place to enjoy matcha in Uji

An excellent cafe on the main road. Very calm and lots of seating inside. They offer dairy free milk if this is important to you! Their matcha lattes are delicious. I recommend the cake set. Also, weird flex but the soap in their bathrooms smells incredible.

Amazing service for us englanders!!! Very good english and was very friendly. The macha lattes are incredible and we got the macha roll cake and the crossiant both amazing highly recommend stopping by !

The staff are all helpful and friendly. We are in a group of 10 with elderly, they manage to arrange table for us. Many varieties of matcha drinks, but I order the matcha espresso, I prefer to taste the pure matcha. The matcha cake I ordered taste good!

The place has a lot of seating capacity and well lit. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. Sadly, there were unavailable things on the menu when we went there. The matcha ice cream, drinks and toast were really good. The price matches the quality of food and beverages.
