NAKANOTEI COFFEE Tennozan is a cafe operated by the non-profit organization Kurashi Lamp. We at Kurashi Lamp, as a Type B employment support business, provide employment support for those with intellectual disabilities, mental disabilities, higher brain dysfunction, etc., as well as those who are withdrawn at home due to disabilities so that they can become independent. We conduct a coffee business as part of that employment. Not a mass-production type, but by carefully removing defective beans and roasting them slowly over time, the finished coffee has a good mouthfeel without any off-flavors. In order to provide a little "relief" time for those who drink it, we polish our picking and roasting techniques...

I both had coffee and purchased beans from Nakanotei at a market in Kyoto. Great quality coffee beans. Especially love the Timor Leste origin they have.

On the colorful one-plate, side dishes centered on local vegetables were lined up, and the gentle seasoning that made the most of the ingredients' flavors was impressive. The additive-free sausage, bacon, and seasonal soup were also satisfying, and the content was visually enjoyable. The interior of the shop is a calm space surrounded by art works, and I spent a relaxing time. The home-roasted coffee after the meal was very fragrant, and the carefully brewed cup was perfect for ending the lunch. It is a wonderful cafe where you can feel the commitment to food, space, and coffee, and makes you want to visit again.

I visited because there was still time until the Suntory beer factory tour. The space is large and they sell everything from coffee beans to various coffee utensils. Today's coffee is 400 yen, the price is good and the staff are kind.
