A traditional house cafe I stumbled upon on my way back from a bakery on the Oyamazaki hill ♫ The path from the road to the cafe felt like something out of a Ghibli movie, which piqued my interest. I visited again later, and from the entrance to the interior, it's a genuine old house that is incredibly soothing. I went during lunchtime; the flavors weren't too strong, and I could feel the gentleness in the taste—it was truly delicious. The dessert after the meal was also great, I'll be back ♫ By the way, the owner runs the place alone, so it's best to avoid visiting in large groups. It's highly recommended if you want to relax in a small group ♫

Visited for lunch after hiking Mount Tennozan. It's located deep in a narrow alley off the main road. Since it was around 1 PM, the lunch menu was sold out. I had the omurice and cake. The omurice wasn't exactly runny, but it was thick and fluffy, which was delicious. For the cake, I chose the fondant au chocolat. It has a slight bitterness but is very rich and also very delicious. The vanilla ice cream that comes with it is also good. It's right next to the Hankyu and JR lines, so it's lively—might be good for train lovers. Being an old house cafe, the building has a retro feel, reminding me of a grandmother's house in the countryside. The owner was also very attentive. I'd like to visit earlier next time so I can have lunch.

I had the lunch plate (with drink) for 1200 yen and added a small dessert for 300 yen. Both were delicious, and the value for money was good. Since the owner runs it alone, the food service is a bit slow. I'd like to visit for breakfast next time.

I visited for a cafe break. It's one street up the mountain from the Saigoku Kaido road. The crossing over the JR Tokaido line is a steep slope. It seems the owner runs the place alone. They were a lovely person. I'd like to visit for lunch next time, but it's better to make a reservation.
