Supposed to be a more generic soft serve, but with miyama milk it's really quite good. Texture is fine, the flavour of the milk carries, even though it's not very thick. The result is a clean tasting ice cream that's very good

A good restaurant alongside the main road. It serves a variety of Japanese food in an affordable price. Tried the Tokatsu Curry with some coffee and donuts. The coffee itself seemed old, but the food was good.

This restaurant is located across the road from the hamlet so just a short walk away. It's adjacent to a car park. As the only restaurant open in winter, there's a short queue at lunchtime. The menu is not exhaustive and comprises hot or homemade cold soba with tempura, fish, egg rice or on its own. Smaller side dishes such as deer meat and fried chicken are also available. The tempura looked like a work of art and tasted very good.

This was the only food venue open in winter, and while it’s located at the main parking lot, the food was actually very good, and service was with big smiles. It gets very busy when tour buses arrive so if you might be in a rush, better to pay your bill before a long line of people wanting ice cream thwarts you from leaving anytime soon!

The restaurant itself is along the main road and only a few minutes walk from Miyama Village. Inside and outside seatings are available. Good food and reasonable price with very friendly staff.
