This is a restaurant at the roadside station "Springs Hiyoshi". The tables are spacious, the layout is relaxed, and the ceiling is high, and barbecue is also possible on the terrace seats. When eating at lunchtime, it was relaxed (it takes time to serve, there are empty seats), so I thought it was a hidden gem..., I was surprised to find that there were 14 groups waiting!! I hurried out as I decided to have the soft serve ice cream outside. The food has a solid portion, the taste is stable, the price is affordable, and the family can enter with peace of mind. On top of that, you can eat dam curry and be very satisfied. When you order dam curry, you can get something like a dam card and a paper introducing dam curry from various places, and it feels lucky. The spoon is shovel-shaped and cute, and of course I made a hole in the white rice embankment with the shovel, and performed the breach ritual. This time I entered right after opening at 11 o'clock, so there was no waiting time. Oh, the robot that brings the food is also very popular with young and old.
View on GoogleVisited around 12:00 on the weekend Waiting for 3 groups, 20 minutes wait The inside of the store is empty, it feels like there is an entry restriction adjusted to the capacity of the cooking staff Ordered black bean sansho miso mushroom ramen and mackerel stick sushi After waiting for about 20 minutes, the bowl arrived The soup had a unique rich taste and was delicious. Unfortunately the stick sushi is frozen food When leaving the store at 13:00, there were 9 groups waiting for 50 minutes.
View on GoogleIt was quite a stylish space. Tried the dam curry which is a specialty, it was quite delicious. The price is high but the taste is commensurate, so I didn't regret it.
View on GoogleStopped by for lunch before using the campsite! I ordered eel tempura bowl and mackerel pressed sushi, but I was surprised because the tempura bowl was too delicious. Volume that you wouldn't think is 1,280 yen, there were many types such as 2 pieces of eel, large shiitake mushroom, soft-boiled egg, eggplant, shishito, and sweet potato! There I felt the kindness overflowing from the dishes such as 2 types of pickles, miso soup with shiitake mushrooms, and ohitashi... What was especially amazing was the eel and sweet potato, the eel was 1.5 times thicker than the supermarket and fluffy, very fluffy 😽 Until now, sweet potato tempura was dry and I didn't like it very much, but the sweet potato here had a sticky taste like a very delicious roasted sweet potato, and the sweetness was strong and high quality... The thickness of the wet towel, the fact that it is not water but fragrant tea, is the best. Next time I want to come not for camping, but for the tempura bowl! ⛺️
View on GoogleRestaurant Katsuragawa located inside Michi-no-Eki Springs Hiyoshi is a place where you can have "food that does not betray expectations". There is little hit-or-miss common in tourist spot restaurants, and there is a sense of stability that you can choose with confidence. The set menu is mainly Japanese food, and the balance is such that the seasoning is firm but not too heavy. In particular, fried foods and grilled fish are finished simply but carefully, and are designed to make rice go down well. There is no eccentricity, but the degree of perfection makes you think "it's okay to come again".
