The croissants are amazing, the best in Kyoto in my opinion. Staff are super friendly. You’ll likely have to wait in line outside for awhile (but that’s par for the course for any decent bakery in Japan.)

A delicious-looking croissant specialty shop I found on Instagram. I knew they opened a second branch in Karasuma, but I was curious about the main store in Nagaokakyo, which is far, so I visited it. The atmosphere inside the shop is nice, like a cafe where you can eat in. There are so many types of croissants that I couldn't decide. The showcase caught my eye and I bought a croissant sandwich, but the French croissant (croissant made into French toast) was what interested me the most. The prices are quite steep, ranging from 490 yen to the 600 yen range, but each one is large and feels heavy when held. Everything I bought was delicious, so the satisfaction was high and it's worth the price. The variety of cashless payment options is also good. Because it's expensive, I can't visit often, but it's a croissant specialty shop that makes me want to eat there again.

I bought croissants and other breads at a pop-up event. They are a bit expensive, but the croissants are dense and the chocolate inside is delicious. The others are also of high quality.
