Delicious! Thick-cut steak, chicken katsu curry. A counter-only curry specialty shop near JR Nagaokakyo. Used it for lunch with my wife while working from home. I ordered chicken katsu curry for 830 yen, my wife ordered thick-cut steak curry for 980 yen. You can choose the amount of rice, and I asked for a slightly larger portion. Up to a large portion (350g) seems to be free. The curry roux is thin, spicy, and has a kick. The chicken katsu is crispy and delicious, and since it's not too thick, it goes well with the curry. I also got some of my wife's steak, and for this content, 980 yen might be very worth it. The shop is counter-only, but they also do take-out, so you can order from outside the shop and take it home. The Tabelog rating wasn't high, but I think it's a delicious shop with high cost-performance.

I went to eat because a friend said there was a recommended curry. I ordered the thick-cut steak curry right away! Delicious. I understand why it's recommended! The price is also affordable, and the rice amount is free up to a large portion. You can eat heartily! There are plenty of topping menus, so next time I want to top it with crab cream croquette and cheese!

Because I was hungry after coming back from drinking in Tokyo... The katsu is delicious. The only complaint is that the curry roux is a bit small. This is a ranked shop that I, as a local, don't want to see go out of business.
