Came for the super spicy street. A few years ago I almost died from level 5, so this time I went with level 3. The spice level was just right. I'd like to drink while eating other menu items too, but it's a pity it's quite far to come by train.
View on GoogleThe landlady was friendly and fun, and the conversation with the regulars was lively, making for a very enjoyable meal. The cheese omelet, popular with children, is delicious. Adults can enjoy it too.
View on GoogleThis is a small okonomiyaki shop run by a single energetic mom. It is a member of the Kyoto Mukomachi Super Spicy Shopping Street, and I recommend the super spicy hell yakisoba. Of course, there are also plenty of regular teppanyaki menu items that aren't spicy. The interior has a good old-fashioned Showa atmosphere, but the toilet was renovated in 2020 (when it was quiet due to COVID-19) to Reiwa specifications. Smoking is allowed inside.
View on GoogleIt seems there is a parking lot. Cash only. The betayaki was delicious. The young lady's service was good. But since smoking is allowed, that's a minus point. Also, the shop is very messy.
