Kissa Point is an old-fashioned coffee shop located in the Saiin area of Ukyo Ward, Kyoto City. It is known as a shop with a Showa retro atmosphere that is loved by local regulars. With an interior like an old-fashioned pure coffee shop, you can relax comfortably. The coffee shop menu centers on coffee. You can enjoy standard drinks such as blend coffee and tea. Light meals are also well-stocked. There are standard coffee shop menu items such as breakfast, toast, and sandwiches. It is a homey shop that is used more by local residents or people on work breaks than for tourists.

I stepped into Kissa Point for a break, and the owner was a kind and speedy person who brought water as soon as I sat down. I only ordered iced cafe au lait, but there were also rice dishes on the menu, and if I had time, I would have liked to try the yakiniku bento. Besides coffee, there are also juices like banana juice, so I think it's easy to come with children! Personally, I thought they might be focusing on curry?

It seems there is no parking. Cash only. A small cafe. There were magazines provided. 2022/07/22 I had the time-service lunch. It was good for the price in terms of quantity and variety. The taste was average. 2022/10/22 Fried shrimp curry. The shrimp was small! But it was surprisingly delicious. The curry also seemed original, different from a curry shop, and it was delicious. It wasn't spicy.

This is a shop that has been around for a long time and the set meals are very delicious; I used to stop by after work about 30 years ago. I suddenly remembered and stopped by, and it seems it has been renovated and is open from about 9 AM to 5 PM. I had a sandwich and coffee, and I think it's a delicious, relaxing, and comfortable space. The lunch looks delicious, so I would like to visit again.

A shop with the best food. The master's honest attitude and his hard work in cooking are also quite something. Our family are heavy users because we live nearby, and we always look forward to the daily lunch. Moreover, the price is reasonable. You can use the parking lot of "Machi Terrace Muko" next door, so it's safe even if you come by car.
