Very small family sushi bar which served one of the best sushi I had in Japan. The quality of the produce was excellent, James the chef owner was a cracking character and I love the meal. It is out of the way but well worth the detour!

맛과 가격 서비스와 분위기 모두 만족한 곳입니다. 모둠스시와 연어참치스시세트를 시켰습니다. 이전에 난바에서 먹었던 스시가 실망이라 오히려 이번에는 기대를 더 하고 찾아서 온 곳인데 정말 기대 이상으로 만족했습니다. 일단 회가 정말 신선하고 비린맛이 전혀 없습니다. 밥에서는 감칠맛이 나고 회에서는 정말 신선한 맛이 났습니다. 튀김도 정말 맛있습니다. 맛을 좀 더 풍성하게 표현하고싶은데 맛있다는 말 밖에 안 나오네요. 그냥 직접 가서 드셔보시면 됩니다. 사장님께서 친절하시고 영어로 이것저것 여쭤봐주십니다. 디저트도 정말 완벽했습니다. 교토에 또 온다면 반드시 재방문할 겁니다. 그래서 리뷰로 씁니다. 최고

(Lunch visit 12/2025) I ordered the following. ・Lunch Tsukasa [1,300 yen] Set of chirashizushi, tekka maki, nigiri. Overall, the quality of the ingredients is good and delicious. The variety of chirashi ingredients is abundant. Octopus is pleasing. Tuna is also not persistent and delicious. Boiled shrimp is delicious. I accidentally bit the cherry seed on top of the chirashizushi, so be careful haha Warm atmosphere with the owner, landlady, and customers. It feels like a shop loved by locals.
