What an absolute delightful café. We were heartily greeted by the whole staff as we entered, already putting a smile on my face. It took a little while for me and my partner to choose from all the breads, but the staff patiently waited for us. We wanted to bring some of the pastries for takeout while having a coffee at the cafe to eat some others. With our limited Japanese capabilities we confused the staff (sorry!) but they were still very accommodating. The melon pan tasted differently compared to others I've tried in Japan. I believe it's been made with naturally fermented yeast (sourdough)? I enjoyed it a lot! 🥐 There was a quaint and cute atmosphere in the café, too. It felt like a very traditional, homely sort of place, and it reminded me of places I've been to in Europe. ☕ If I could, I'd give the café 6/5. 🍞✨The staff showed us a lot of interest, even asking us about our stay in Japan, and we received some complimentary service! Thank you for being so kind to us. We've never felt as welcome in Japan as we did yesterday. We'll be back for sure!
View on GoogleI visited several times when they were operating along the road, but this was my first time visiting after moving. I don't know if the shop became narrower, but I felt the variety became fewer. The handling of cascroûte, fruit, sandwiches, etc. is reminiscent of SIZUYA. Simple bread is reasonably priced, but cascroûte and sandwiches felt expensive. I ate it as soon as I got home, but for me the dough was too soft. If you like soft types, it might suit you. What was unfortunate was the customer service, the person in front of me seemed to be a regular, and it's fine to be engrossed in conversation, but while packing the items I bought and doing the register, he was talking to that person the whole time. I usually don't complain about customer service, but I felt very neglected and felt bad. I didn't have a good impression.
View on GoogleAnyway, the baguette is delicious. The atmosphere in the shop and the staff are good, it's a very good shop. Custard cream on the cream bread has just the right sweetness and it's my favorite.
View on GoogleI went for the first time because I wanted to eat handmade bread. It's a small and cute shop. Cascroûte bread is crispy but the balance with the ingredients is good and delicious! Cream bread, as shown in the photo, is almost all cream. (I couldn't take a good photo) Cream bread with a gentle sweetness that is not too sweet is an addictive taste. I will go again (^^) There is also an eat-in space! Please stop by ♪
View on GoogleI visited for the first time There are plenty of side dish breads and it was fun to choose The taste is also very delicious, I'm confused about what to choose next! It's been 1 year since I moved near here, but I only recently found out about this shop! There was an eat-in space so I hope I can eat bread inside the shop next time I was happy that they greeted me friendly Thank you very much!
