I truly feel this shop has single-handedly restored my faith in humanity. The shopkeeper—a warm and kind grandmother—made our experience unforgettable. Last year, we visited on an extremely cold day, completely underdressed. Despite the language barrier, she kindly opened several kimono packages for me to try on. When I decided to purchase one, she even offered a discount out of goodwill, which was incredibly touching. She also gave us some snacks before sending us off. This year, we returned—and to our surprise, she remembered us. She even gave us tickets for the nearby chairlift and rides, which was such a generous gesture. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend visiting this shop. The service is exceptional, and there’s a wonderful variety of items, from pottery and ceramics to kimono, matcha, and local snacks. The kimono I bought is beautiful—the material is silky, the fit is great, and I received so many compliments. This shop is truly a gem.

The owner is friendly and was ready to help. Made the whole experience a lot magical. His shop is near the station, you could drop by to pick some souvenirs or to get a tip or two on the local attractions.
