Very nice ice cream with red bean paste. Mochi is also nice and chewy. Highly recommended.

A very best Japanese sweet store around the area. The restroom also very clean. Price is good. Tea is great. And mochi was one of the best. My friend had red bean/mochi also very light and delicious, not too sweet.

We were not hungry then so we did not eat the famous mochi but we bought pine needle juice. It reminded us of a french drink, menthe l'eau (peppermint water). The drink was really nice especially during the rainy season or hot summer. It really hit the spot right after walking the Kaisen Bashi. An employee told us that they boil the pine needle to make the juice. We have never tasted the pine needle or its drink but we really love it.

This place has been around for 300 years and it is delicious. Green tea will set you back 400 jpy and the mochi will run you 270 jpy. You won’t regret a visit.

Such a beautiful little spot, a respite from the heat. This delicious little bowl is what I needed.
